Now I need to update my suspension a little bit... Currently hunting high and low for decent coilovers I can use for my FXT, some camber bolts and maybe lateral links if I can't get enough room in the rear to fit these suckers...
EDIT: I am not running a 225/35 on a 10" wide wheel for a Forester, that's way too small. They just came on the wheels when I bought them. The narrowest I would go is 245.

Looks like those wheels have room for greater width rubber, even still.

Why the stretched tires? Do you hate your wheel lips that much? I honestly don't understand the trend of stretched tires at all. You need excessive air pressure to maintain the bead which in turn gives you a shitty and hard ride. Those are just what I know from the general principle of how a tire is an integral part of the suspension.
Not really trying to stir shit, I'm just curious as to why you went with huge wheels and stretched tires. Also how wide are those and what section width are you running?

I love it.

Neat! I'm sure you won't have trouble parting out those tires they seem to be in good shape. You'll really notice a difference in handling when you get the right section tire with the proper sidewall aspect on there. As it is now I expect both the ride and handling to be significantly impaired. Sidewall compliance is important!

why didn't you buy tires that actually fit your wheels?
I would call the shop and make sure they put the right sized tire on, you must be safe while driving.

Why do people pay so much for expensive clothing when they can just wear a t-shirt and some gym shorts which are much more comfortable, why put 1000hp into a road car when you will never go over 200mph? Because you can, you think he would do this if it wasn't something he likes? He doesn't work to earn money to spend it on things that someone else likes. Not everything in this world has to be logical.

Yes those are just the tires that came on the wheels, they are far too small for a Forester.

Lol... I didn't put those tires on, I'm getting 245/45's

I am not going to run a 225/35 on a 10" wide wheel, I am getting 245/45's unless I can find a good sized 255

They can easily fit a 305. The guy I bought them from was running 225/35's which are far too small for me.

Someone haha..
I neglected to mention I am not running the super stretch tires.

A better analogy would be why would someone buy a $1000 suit, and have it tailored so that it was too tight in the chest, and the cuffs in the middle of the shins. They are expensive wheels, with a tire designed for a much smaller rim.

They are way too small for the wheel, not just a Forrester.

Yes they are far too narrow for a 10" wide wheel.

I'm running 245s on a 10" wheel. It has a nice little stretch to it.

I wouldn't bother with 245s, those will still be way too small on a 10'' wheel. 255 will be a little better but still not ideal. For reference, 255 section tires came stock on my previous car (335i) on the rear, which was an 8.5'' wheel. I currently have 265/35/18 yokohama AD08s on my 18x10 ARC-8s and to be honest it's a little less tire than I'd like. 275-285 depending on the particular tire (manufacturer variance, whether it's r-comp, etc. - some are wider than others) is pretty much what you need to fill at 10'' wheel. On a lot of cars, clearance will start to be a problem with rubber that big. No idea about the subaru though. Maybe you can fit some monster rubber on that puppy!

I can't fit a 255, it's the problem of the offset. 245 has a healthy stretch, not unsafe at all. This is the exact wheel tire setup I'll be running, minus how low it is, I can't go that low with air, which he has.
Plus its almost impossible to run a 275 on my car without serious fabrication of the fenders.

It's a good looking amount, 225 is far too much and looks stupid.

Ahh, I see! Yeah, that's not exactly my cup of tea. No offense but fat wheels are for fat tires in my book =)

I know, if I ever find the finical means to do a wide body or some way to get SG9 Fender flares that are big enough the wheel size will be increased.

Good, I was almost disappointed. . . Enjoy the grip that a proper tire and wheel combo gives your symmetrical all wheel drive.

I know I am excited, I am not really a fan of stretched tires on my car, neat to look at when I don't have to drive it haha.
